ONAT is the National Tour Operator of Algeria which has been at the forefront of Algeria’s tourism industry for over 45 years, offering tailor-made travel experiences that showcase the country’s diverse landscapes and rich cultural heritage. With a network of 32 agencies, ONAT provides comprehensive tourism services, including guided tours, desert expeditions, cultural stays, wellness retreats, and adventure travel.
The challenge:
In March 2023, we had the privilege of designing and building the official ONAT exhibition stand at Place2Go in Zagreb, Croatia—one of the region’s most prominent tourism fairs. Our challenge was to create an stand that not only captured the essence of Algeria’s rich culture but also its diverse travel experiences and opportunities for international visitors and tourism compaines.
Inspired by traditional Algerian architecture, we integrated ornamental archways, intricate latticework, and framed cultural visuals to create an immersive and visually striking pavilion.
A lounge area with high-quality furniture and equipped with a screen, provided a professional and comfortable space for meetings and business presentations.
To enhance the ambiance, we incorporated natural greenery, carefully blending modern exhibition elements with a welcoming, organic feel.
Our pavilion’s quality earned the prestigious Best Design Award, reinforcing our expertise in stand construction and design.
This project captivated visitors, including former Croatian Presidents Stjepan Mesić and Ivo Josipović, who personally visited and praised its innovation and design.
